Ojai Trolley Charter Services Chartering the Ojai Trolley adds old fashioned fun to any event and is the perfect solution to your group's transportation needs. The Ojai Trolley features beautiful, old fashioned wood and brass interiors, clanging Trolley bells, air conditioning, and wheelchair accessibility. For your enjoyment, food and drinks may be brought on board the Trolley during charter activities. Prior arrangements should be made, and a cleaning fee may be required. Special
discounted rates are available to public, non-profit, and educational
organizations. Please let us know if your group qualifies for the
discounted rate prior to requesting a contract.
Trolleys are available 7 days a week, on a first-come first-served basis. However, use of more than one vehicle may be restricted to evening hours of 6:00pm or later and is at the discretion of the Trolley Service. Passenger capacity ranges from 23 to 30 adults seated, and 28 to 36 adults with standees. Trolley capacity is determined by average adult weight. General Rates, Terms, and Conditions: Due to Federal regulations governing the use of transit buses for private charters, the Ojai Trolley is available for charter service only within the Ojai Valley. There is a 2-hour minimum charge for all charters. Additional time is calculated as either “Live Time” (passengers on board) or "Standby Time" (waiting for passengers). A refundable deposit of 50% of the estimated cost is due upon receipt of a signed Charter Contract. The actual charges (less the deposit) will be invoiced immediately following the charter. The Ojai Trolley Service is currently unable to accept credit cards for deposits or payments. Personal or company checks and money orders are welcomed. A Rush Fee applies to all charter services contracted within 48 hours of a scheduled charter time. A Cancellation Fee will be applied if notice of cancellation is received less than 2 business days prior to the date scheduled. A coordination Fee will be applied to any charter requiring special attention, e.g. vehicle decorating, logistical arrangements requiring site visits, vehicle visits, etc. No gratuities are necessary.
